Grill Charms
Grill Charms are a company from Charleston, SC, that makes little metal tags for BBQ grills so people can mark out which items on the grill are theirs. Think cocktail monkeys or mermaids where people are using glassware and you essentially have the same idea.
There are four different "collections" that Grill Charms makes including meat temperatures (Rare, Medium, Well, etc) and spice level (Spicy or Mild).
As of the filming of this deal, Grill Charms claims to be sold in over a hundred independent gift stores. A collection retails for $19.95 and, in the previous year, made $60,000 in sales.
The entrepreneur behind Grill Charms took the idea from concept to product in just eighteen months. Grill Charms is looking for an investor so the entrepreneur can attend more trade shows, make sports licensing deals, and appear on networks like QVC.
